CROPS leadership team has facilitated and/or managed a diverse range of projects since its establishment in 2004 that focus on community development, inter-generational learning and youth leadership skill building.  Our Native youth films use the platform of filmmaking for character education, leadership development, career skill building, social justice advocacy, public speaking and teaching effective communication skills.

The Center for Rural Outreach and Public Services, Inc. (CROPS) was founded by Beverly Santicola and her mom, Ardella Paulsen, in 2004 as a nonprofit, 501c3 charitable organization. CROPS mission is to grow a new generation of leaders for the future of rural America. CROPS needs the support of individuals and philanthropists to continue its work. Currently, we are working to address poverty and homelessness on Native American reservations and to expand the San Pierre Oral History Project. Please consider a making donation to CROPS to support our rural work with youth and elders.
